The short film, written and directed by Alvaro Jimenez, has been selected to compete in the F3 category of Colombia’s largest and most prestigious short film festival.

“Relection” tells the story of an illustrator who travels to the countryside with her dog in search of inspiration but finds herself haunted by a strange entity that seems to be her own self. Representations of the mind, guilt, fear, dreams, and reality invite questions about various aspects of the psyche. This short film explores elements of suspense, thriller, and psychological horror.

Bogoshorts (Bogota Short Film Festival) is a film festival specializing in short formats, officially qualifying for the Academy Awards (Oscars) and Spain’s Goya Awards. Held every December, it showcases around 400 short films from Colombia and across the globe.
